E.T. The Extra Terrestrial / Laphroaig 10

For their 30th episode, Bob and Brad check out the absolute classic E.T. The Extra-Terrestrial. Bob is convinced this is among director Steven Spielberg's best films. Brad has never seen it before. Yes, you read that correctly. What will he think of E.T., especially as an adult?

The guys discuss the excellent turns by all the child actors, as well as John Williams' timeless score. Bob decided to go really deep with his analysis of the film, discussing Spielberg's childhood traumas and the effects of divorce.

Meanwhile, they continue their September of Scotch with Laphroaig 10, their first peated scotch on the podcast and the first from Islay. Bob goes on record stating that he generally doesn't like peaty scotch. Brad says he wantes to breathe like a dragon. How will this whisky satisfy either of them?
